Shipping & Returns Policy 2025
SHIPPING
At Sunday Society, we aim to provide a simple and enjoyable shopping experience.
Once your order is accepted, we will provide you with a tracking number so you can track the fulfilment and delivery of your order from start to finish.
We strive to ship orders within 24-48 hours (business days). Please note, this excludes pre-order items and during peak trading times, there may be slight delays.
Shipping Rates
For most Australian Metro orders, we offer a $14.95 flat rate shipping fee for non-bulky items/large multi-product orders.
Free local pickup is available at checkout on in-stock items (no pre-orders).
If you require urgent delivery, please contact us before checking out, and we can assist you with express shipping options.
Standard Shipping
Available for Metro Areas Australia-wide, with conditions applying:
- Does not include bulky or oversized items (e.g., furniture, pots, rugs, artworks).
- Does not apply to pre-order items.
- Additional shipping charges will apply for bulky or oversized items, even if "Local Pickup" is selected at checkout, and you require shipping and/or your items are not available for pickup.
- Shipping quotes are based on your location and the cubic meterage of your order. We always aim to find the most affordable option.
Bulky & Oversized Items
For bulky, oversized items or multi-product orders, you will be charged additional shipping, which will be invoiced separately after your order is submitted. Pre-orders and bulky items shipped directly from suppliers may incur additional costs, even if you select "Pick-up in Store" at checkout.

Conditions Apply:
- Excludes bulky or oversized items, including furniture, pots, and artworks, or orders with multiple items.
- Excludes deliveries to locations outside of metro areas. Deliveries to rural locations, including SA, WA and NT will incur additional shipping costs.
- Excludes pre-order items.
- Additional shipping charges may apply for items that fall outside the criteria for standard/shipping.

- Express Shipping: Available upon request.
- Free Pickup: Local pickup is available at checkout. A notification will be sent to you when your item is ready for pickup.
Delivery Information
- Orders will be dispatched within 2-5 business days. You will be notified if there are any delays.
- Deliveries are made during normal business hours (Monday to Friday).
- PO Box addresses cannot be used for delivery.
- If you have multiple items, you may receive multiple deliveries.
- We are not responsible for incorrect delivery addresses, and additional charges may apply for redelivery if the address provided is incorrect.
Please double-check your delivery address at checkout to avoid any issues.
Shipping Lead Times
- Delivery estimates provided by suppliers may vary based on your location, product type, and stock availability.
- Please be aware that delays may occur due to reasons outside our control, such as shipping delays, supplier issues, or unforeseen circumstances like weather or strikes.
- Some items may take up to 16 weeks to deliver. For specific lead times, please contact us at shop@sundaysociety.com.au.
DAMAGED GOODS
In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the item for assessment. If the item is deemed faulty or damaged, we will offer a replacement (if available) or store credit.
To report damaged goods, please email us at sunday@sundaysociety.com.au with your order number and images of the damaged items. Please do not attempt to return the items before contacting us, as you may incur additional expenses.
Please note: We will not refund or replace a product if, in our reasonable opinion, the product has become damaged due to fair wear and tear, misuse, improper use, or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY
Due to health and safety regulations, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
